The 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is almost upon us and, for moviegoers all over the country, one question looms large: how much are tickets going to be?
The answer, unfortunately, depends on your local cinema. Online ticketing platforms like SureSeats for Ayala Malls have slowly begun to post ticket prices for MMFF screenings, and numbers vary greatly depending on where you want to watch your chosen movie. For example, SureSeats’ listed ticket prices for Kip Oebanda’s law school drama Bar Boys: After School range from P360 at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces to P430 at Ayala Malls TriNoma. For the comedy Call Me Mother, starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre, the lowest ticket price is listed at P280 at Ayala Malls Legaspi, while its highest ticket price is P580 at Ayala Malls Veris North. For the holiday-themed comedy ReKonek, prices range from P360 at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces to P550 at Glorietta. Pricing depends on how premium the cinemas are.
Power Plant Cinema has also listed its ticket prices for this year’s MMFF lineup. Most tickets are listed as P470 each; however, some outliers, such as the rom-com Love You So Bad, are priced at P570 because the venue is currently only offering premium seats for this film’s screenings. Similarly, tickets for ReKonek are priced at P670 because the cinema is only offering VIP premium seats.
As of now, SM Cinemas has not yet released screening times and ticket prices for MMFF entries, though this may change closer to the festival’s start date.
MMFF will officially run from December 25 to early January 2026. It will also kick off festivities with its first-ever Parade of Stars, to be held in Makati on December 19, and will hold its award ceremony, Gabi ng Parangal, on December 27.
