Starting this Valentine’s Day, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is holding free screenings of eight romance films in Manila, Davao City, Iloilo City, and Bacolod, as part of this year’s iteration of “Sine Sinta.”
The FDCP’s selection is centered on films “shaped by love, labor, and survival.” From February 14 to 20, singles and couples alike can watch Jonathan Jurilla’s Love Child, Antoinette Jadaone’s That Thing Called Tadhana, JP Habac’s I’m Drunk, I Love You, Dwein Baltazar’s Third World Romance and Gusto Kita with All My Hypothalamus, Jade Castro’s Endo, Sigrid Andrea Bernardo’s Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita, and Thai filmmaker Charliebebs Gohetia’s I Love You. Thank You.
In Metro Manila, the films will be screened at the Metropolitan Theater, Fort Santiago, and Rizal Park. Screenings will also be held in the Davao del Sur, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental branches of Cinematheque Centre.
Registration and show details for “Sine Sinta” 2026 are available on the FDCP’s social media pages.
