It’s Oscars Movie Week in Select Philippine Cinemas Now

To celebrate the 98th Academy Awards happening this March 15th, Ayala Malls Cinemas is holding its Oscars Movie Week from March 11 to March 17. Filipino audiences now have the opportunity to watch eight Oscar-nominated films in select theaters ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night.

The selection include six of the 10 Best Picture contenders: Bugonia, The Secret Agent, F1: The Movie, One Battle After Another, Sentimental Value, and Sinners. Also joining the lineup are Best Animated Feature nominees Elio and Zootopia 2.

Moreover, participants named Oscar S. are entitled to one free ticket to any of the selected films.

While Best Picture nominee Hamnet is also currently showing in Ayala Malls Cinemas, it is not part of the Oscars Movie Week lineup.

Malls participating in the Oscars Movie week are Glorietta, Makati; Trinoma, Quezon City; Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Parañaque City; and Ayala Malls Central Bloc, Cebu City.

The Academy Awards ceremony, also known as the Oscars, is presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and will be hosted once more by comedian Conan O’Brien. This year’s edition inaugurates the Best Casting category, for which Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, and Sinners have been nominated. In total, 24 awards are set to be conferred on the morning of March 16 in Philippine time.
