After launching their comeback album Arirang, BTS will be joining Sean Evans on the hit YouTube talk show, Hot Ones. The boys are set to take on Evans’ hot questions and even hotter chicken wings in the show’s season finale this Thursday, April 9, as confirmed by Evans on social media. And given his track record with spicy food, we expect BTS vocalist V to suffer the most in this highly anticipated episode.

Fan-made compilations of clips from various episodes of the web series Run BTS show V reaching for milk after a bite of a spicy wing or his face turning sour after getting a mouthful of noodles.  It’s safe to say it looks like he’ll have a hard time dealing with the Hot Ones lineup of signature sauces, including The Last Dab, said to measure over 2.6 million Scoville units.

BTS is set to join the show’s slate of funny, insightful, and downright iconic celebrity interviews, which include Dakota Johnson, Blackpink’s Jennie, and even Bear Grylls. This 29th season, actors Oscar Isaac and Hilary Duff also made appearances on the show.

While most interviews follow a one-on-one format, Hot Ones has also hosted groups like TXT, the Stranger Things cast, and the KPop Demon Hunters cast in Hot Ones Versus, where participants must choose between answering deeply personal questions and eating progressively hotter wings. But there have also been episodes where Evans interviewed multiple people, such as the one with Deadpool stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.

Similarly, BTS is facing off with Evans in the show’s usual format. “[This table] is the largest one this studio has seen,” the host said in the teaser. “We’ve got seven chairs [and] seven sets of wings. Including me, that makes 80 wings on the table, a Hot Ones record.”
