The Lip Sync LalaPaRuza Smackdown (say that fast three times) is a time-honored halfway point challenge in the world of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and in the latest episode of Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, the queens definitely gave the smackdowns their all. Mama Pao, along with guest judges Drag Race Philippines Season 1 champion Precious Paula Nicole and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 winner Sasha Colby, bore witness to some of the season’s best lip-sync battles, packed with just the right amount of high kicks, RuVeals, and backstage drama.

But while the episode ended with some clear winners and one loser (eep!), we picked apart each lip-sync of the night and ranked them for your viewing pleasure. From most to least fierce, here are the Lip Sync LalaParuza Smackdown battles that left us gobsmacked (gobsmacked?!?).

Although the smackdown between Suki Doll and Yuhua to Sasha Colby’s “GODDESS” was by no means bad, it just wasn’t as striking as the other five battles of the episode (I stand by this, and yes, we can fight). The two queens were definitely formidable opponents, but I feel like they were giving the same levels of energy to the song. Maybe it was Yuhua’s leaning back on her comedy roots (sigh) or maybe it was Suki Doll’s outfit reveal (the judges do love a reveal), but the smackdown was ultimately slightly in Suki Doll’s favor.

This big three-way lip-sync battle was more about the queens serving cunt than anything else. While maybe not as memorable as the two battles on top of this list, their smackdown to Silvy’s “Queen” showed the queens whipping out all the backflips, splits, and hair tosses they could muster. Although Brigiding won the RuBadge for this one, it really could have gone to any of the three.

Yuhua said it best when she pointed out that Khianna took the Vengaboys’ “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom” way too seriously. Arizona Brandy, on the other hand, brought copious amounts of camp to the Eurodance track. Bringing out her vapes, rolling her eyes at her Filipino sister, and hopping across the stage are most likely what cinched her the win.

Khianna squirting water onto Yuhua while Lola Amour played live in the background might be one of the best moments of Slaysian Royale so far. The two queens lip-synced for their lives to the pop band’s latest hit, “Misbehave,” although this one was definitely Khianna’s for the taking. While last week’s episode saw the Filipino queen pleading with her sisters to let her go home, Khianna entered the Werk Room this week determined to prove that she deserved a spot in the Top Four. Yuhua definitely brought the comedy to this lip sync battle — she was snorting powder off the checkered floor and dancing with Lola Amour’s band members — but Khianna came in with the nerve and edge that the song demanded (demanded?!?).

Both sisters could have easily won this one. Brigiding and Viñas share a long history as part of the drag trio Divine Divas, alongside Precious Paula Nicole. So it was no surprise that their smackdown rendition of Mama Ru’s “Queendom (JROB Remix)” turned into a unified team effort. Highlights of the battle include Brigiding throwing confetti on the floor (where was she keeping that?), Viñas popping a balloon filled with even more confetti (where was she keeping that??), and the two queens blowing each other away with a hairdryer that Viñas stole from backstage.
