Mockumentary

Mockumentary refers to a fictional film or series presented in documentary style, using the format’s conventions for satirical or comedic rather than factual purpose. The technique allows filmmakers to critique institutions or social behavior under the guise of objective, documentary-style observation and commentary today directly.
