In the pilot episode of Rolling Stone Philippines’ newest video series, Secret Stash, the star of Quezon and The Loved One, Jericho Rosales, was asked to bring several of his prized possessions and share why they matter to him. Among his favorite things was a vintage typewriter, which the actor said helped him launch his magazine 11 years ago.
“I had this dream to have my own magazine back then, and I wanted to call it Mr. Manileño,” Rosales told Rolling Stone Philippines. “We started online in 2015. But then, of course, I had to do my thing as an actor.”
Rosales also brought a wooden cheetah figurine that he bought while on a vacation in Tanzania with his girlfriend, Janine Gutierrez. “One of the goals was to look for one of my favorite cats [there], which is a cheetah,” said Rosales. “They’re one of the greatest hunters, and [they] always remind me to keep hunting.”
He also brought in a Japanese wooden top, and he noted that one of his secret talents is trumpo.
