Together, their work together Filipino music the push to explore something more raw and less formulaic.
Now, that legacy is being handed off to the next generation. The moment arrives just as rap-rock circles back into relevance, with local artists like Dilaw, Gerald Bato, and Rooftop Haze rediscovering its crossover energy The new shows also coincide with the Freeman vinyl reissue, remastered by recording producer Shinji Tanaka.
