Next year on January 14th, the American dream-pop indie band Cigarettes After Sex will be performing at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City as part of the Asia leg of their “X’s” world tour.
According to Karpos, the concert’s official local promoter, more seats have been added to the initially sold-out concert. The new tickets, which are all General Admission (GA) section seats, are priced at P2,840 and are still available for sale via SM Tickets. There is a limit of six tickets per transaction.
This concert will mark the first time the group has played in the Philippines since their performance in 2018, when Filipino indie band Up Dharma Down opened for them.
X’s, the third and latest album from Cigarettes After Sex, was released on July 12th to positive acclaim from fans and critics alike. The collection of songs features the band’s signature dreamy and somber musical tone and frontman Greg Gonzalez’ gentle vocals. The concert setlist will include tracks from X’s as well as beloved previous hits like “Apocalypse” and “Cry.”
