BLACKPINK member Lisa has returned to the Met Gala red carpet, and after making her first appearance last year in black, she turned up to the Met in white. This year, she also served as a member of the host committee.
“I’m just so happy to [be] showcasing myself in art form,” she told Vogue’s red carpet correspondent La La Anthony. The outfit, designed by Hong Kong-born designer Robert Wun, features a pair of 3D-printed arms holding up a veil. The arms were modeled after the “Born Again” singer’s own arms.
For the first time, Lisa was also joined at the red carpet by BLACKPINK co-members Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo, after each had their own turn attending previous iterations of the Met Gala. Other K-pop artists that graced the steps of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art include aespa members Karina and Ningning. KPop Demon Hunters stars Ejae and Audrey Nuna also appeared at fashion’s biggest night.
