Since its founding in 1934, FUJIFILM has provided photographers around the world with the tools and devices they need to tell stories through sharp, crisp imagery. It continues this commitment in the Philippines, where FUJIFILM Philippines recently presented its Nationwide Photo and Video Walk (NPVW) 2025 Exhibition to honor the top submissions from photographers and videographers nationwide.
From the works of over 4,000 applicants, FUJIFILM Philippines highlighted the pieces that best reflected 32 of the country’s cities through a deep, cultural lens. From March 20 to 22, the Ayala Museum was transformed into a showcase of photos and videos spanning Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Following the theme “Contrasts,” the exhibition reflected the diversity of spaces across the country, from packed urban areas such as Davao’s Quezon Park to historical locations like Magellan’s Cross in Cebu.
Photographer, curator, and educator A.G. De Mesa guided visitors on a tour of the exhibition before FUJIFILM Philippines began awarding the event’s most standout pieces. Awardees were presented with a variety of prizes, including a FUJIFILM X-T5 and an XF16-80mm kit lens, to honor their work.
The day also saw Cebu-based artist duo Happy Garaje present Fuji-san, a handmade collectible commemorating the NPVW 2025 Exhibition. At the event, 100 limited-edition Fuji-sans were given to attendees.
“[The exhibition] has truly shown how photography and videography can bring communities together and reveal stories that might otherwise go unseen,” said Masahiro Uehara, President of FUJIFILM Philippines, Inc., at the exhibition. “Through the theme of ‘Contrasts,’ participants captured the richness and diversity of Filipino life, turning everyday streets and landmarks into narratives full of meaning and heart. This is exactly what we hope to achieve, connecting people through their shared vision and love for the craft.”
