The Witcher in Concert will now be staged as a one-night-only performance in Manila, following the cancellation of its second scheduled show. Film Concerts PH has confirmed that the March 29 show has been canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances,” but the March 28 show will proceed as scheduled.
Ticket holders for the March 29 show will receive an official email from TicketWorld, giving them the option to either reschedule to March 28 at 3:00 p.m. or request a refund should they be unavailable on the new schedule.
The concert now marks the sole opportunity for local audiences to experience the live orchestral celebration of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt video game soundtrack. Audiences can expect beloved tracks such as “Wolven Storm,” “Lullaby of Woe,” and other fan favorites, performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra alongside Percival Schuttenbach, the Polish folk metal band that co-composed the video game’s score. The concert combines symphonic arrangements with folk and metal elements, reflecting the dark fantasy world’s roots in Slavic mythology.
Internationally, The Witcher in Concert has been praised by fans and critics alike. Featuring cinematic visuals and new arrangements led by co-composer Marcin Przybyłowicz, the production guides audiences through key moments from Geralt of Rivia’s journey.
