Now in its eighth year, the local eyelash and nail brand aims higher with new California branches and global business gatherings with the likes of the Shangri-La Group

For nearly a decade, NEW Lounge has been committed to making Filipinos — including its star-studded clientele like Heart Evangelista and Jessy Mendiola — look and feel their best.  

Beyond empowering the everyday Filipina through beauty and wellness treatments, the luxury brand also prides itself on being a purpose-driven movement.

The brand’s civic engagement support extends beyond the salon’s walls, too. Following Typhoon Tino’s assault on Cebu, it mounted a donation drive called “Hearts in Action” to support the recovery of the city’s devastated communities.

To mark its eighth anniversary, the brand unveiled its latest chapter, NEW Lounge Global, to signal a continued expansion into the global market through international business gatherings and new locations in California. These developments were formally revealed at EDSA Shangri-La during its inaugural Vision Circle, a business forum that brought together the brand’s longtime collaborators, such as ALO Philippines and Shangri-La Group Partners. 

Driving Change

With the Vision Circle’s inaugural theme, “Presenting the Philippines to the World,” NEW Lounge called on the Filipino business community to position the country as a global frontrunner in wellness, beauty, and lifestyle. The meeting also encouraged purposeful collaborations rooted in Philippine culture and heritage.

“This is more than a gathering. This is a movement,” Bravo says. “We’re inviting the business community to take leadership forward, to build together, and to present the Filipino creativity and strength to the world.”

Innovation at the Center

Innovation has always been at the center of NEW Lounge’s ethos, constantly seeking to diversify its services beyond eyelash and nail services. Its latest offering, Pamper & Reset, delivers a holistic wellness treatment, blending an afternoon tea session, foot pampering, Japanese eyelash extensions, manicure services, and rejuvenating massages by CHI, The Spa, for a thoughtfully curated experience from top to bottom. 

Following its success in Rodeo Drive and EDSA Shangri-La, the experience now expands to Beverly Hills Private Estates, Malibu, and other parts of the Philippines, proving the country’s rising status as a destination for beauty and lifestyle tourism.
