Sidney Prescott — played by Neve Campbell — can’t seem to catch a break.
In Scream 7, the latest addition to the classic ’90s slasher franchise, Sidney has tried to put the past behind her (for the nth time) and is living a new life in a new town with her teenage daughter, Tatum (Isabel May). Unfortunately for both of them, a new serial killer has taken on the Ghostface mask and has decided to target both Prescotts in another delightful, bloody killing spree.
Thankfully, the family has some familiar back-up; Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) are both set to return to the world. Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) will also be making an appearance, although how he does this after the events of Scream has yet to be determined.
Scream 7 has faced a healthy dose of drama behind the scenes, with several important players from Scream VI leaving the project. Actress Melissa Barrera was fired in November 2023 over her pro-Palestine posts, resulting in both director Christopher Landon and Jenna Ortega formally exiting Scream 7.
Scream 7 opens in Philippine cinemas in February 2026.
