Last June 20, IQOS built an entire world around curiosity and pleasure as they launched their latest campaign, Forever Curious. From the moment guests stepped into Gallio Events Hall in Parañaque City, the experience became less about what drink you were holding in your hand, and more about the energy in the air: music that pulsed through your chest and a space designed to keep you guessing. The design of the venue was sleek with hues of turquoise surrounding the entire indoor and outdoor parts of the hall.

The night began with a slow burn with French DJ Eli Cicada opening the dance floor. As a resident DJ of Cafe del Mar Phuket, an offshoot of a legendary music venue in Ibiza, Spain, Cicada has a knack for letting thepulse of house and disco tracks simmer through the air. Rather than pushing for volume or flash, his set was deliberate and textured, focused on building atmosphere rather than peaks. It was a warm lead-in, subtle but steady, setting the tone for what was to come.

As more guests poured into the space, international DJ duo Rave Republic, composed of Mathias Schell and Stas Madorski, followed with a set that strung together recognizable tracks and crowd favorites such as pop funk band Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila” and Coldplay’s “Fix You.” Having performed in some of the world’s most sought-after music festivals, including Ultra Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival, their experience shined through their performance: transitions and pacing were tight, holding space between warm-up and crescendo, and their strength was in knowing when to pull back on a moment.

When sibling DJ duo Johan and Bernie Yang, also known as BEAUZ, took the stage, turquoise strobes oscillated through the venue as the brothers wasted no time.  BEAUZ has toured across Europe, North America, and Asia, and their signature hard techno selections landed with the Filipino audience with a precision that can cut through any subwoofer. Each drop landed with full weight as the bass beat through everyone’s chests. It was a finale that left nothing in reserve, giving the night its clearest emotional peak. The night ended not only with international DJs in the program; Filipino DJs Tolo Marvelous and Jazz Zamora also served an array of dance genres such as jersey club, UK garage, and EDM.

Surrounding the music was an event experience that kept guests engaged between sets. A glowing “curiosity” tree stood tall beside the main entrance, its branches lined with QR codes for limited-edition merchandise and instant prizes. The energy stayed high as guests waited for the biggest announcement of the evening: four winners who would be flown out to experience the IQOS Curious X Global Event in Milan, Italy.

It was a sharp close to a night built on spectacle, sound, and the promise that remaining Forever Curious can take you far.
