Maroon 5 and BLACKPINK’s Lisa Team Up for New Single ‘Priceless,’ Out May 2

BLACKPINK’s maknae isn’t done with her solo play. Post-Coachella, LISA’s next act is a collaboration with Adam Levine and the rest of Maroon 5. A teaser landed on April 23 via Maroon 5’s Instagram featuring two silhouettes against a glowing skyline, sparking instant speculation. But the soft-launch didn’t last long. Lisa dropped the confirmation herself during a sit-down on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. that she’d been in the studio with the band. By April 29, the announcement was impossible to ignore. The White Lotus alumni posted the single’s cover art, and the internet predictably combusted.

The single promises to be another strike in BLACKPINK’s calculated run of high-profile solo plays. Jennie went full Floridian alongside Grammy winner Doechii on “ExtraL,” while Rosé swerved into unexpected territory, trading soju and slow jams with funk wildcard Bruno Mars on “APT.”

A pattern is starting to form, and fans aren’t missing it. And while Jisoo is still coasting solo with zero features in sight, Lisa is already locked into her next phase.The question now is will “Priceless” keep BLACKPINK’s solo streak burning, or will it mark a pivot? Given Lisa’s precision-hit track record and Maroon 5’s knack for sinking hooks into charts worldwide, we all just have to wait for May 2 to arrive.
