Is V’s latest post too hot for Instagram?
It seems like the Meta app believes the BTS member V’s latest Instagram post promoting his photobook, TYPE 非, is not for public consumption.
In the carousel labeled by Instagram as “Sensitive Content” and subsequently covered “so people can choose whether to see it,” is a clip of V sticking out his tongue. The photo and video sharing app clarified that the post doesn’t violate its Community Standards but may contain images that some people might find upsetting. Are photos of hot men upsetting, we ask?
Instagram usually restricts visibility on posts that break its sensitivity guidelines (e.g., photos of violence, sexual explicitness, etc.).
On January 19, the pop star released his second photobook, comprised of 20 chapters that present a “detailed portrayal” of his “profound vision and artistic sensibility,” according to the book’s official press release. V’s Instagram post featured stills from the project, along with clips of the gallery space showcasing his photo exhibition, V TYPE 非: ON-SITE IN SEOUL.
Beyond TYPE 非, V and the rest of BTS are gearing up for both the release of their fifth album and the start of their highly anticipated world tour. The album is set to drop on March 20, while their tour is scheduled this April.
