Big moves are ahead for one of AGC Power Holdings Corp’s core brands.
Bea Valdes becomes Chief Content Officer of Mega Global Group Inc., overseeing the editorial direction and creative synergy of Vogue Philippines, Allure Philippines, and GQ Philippines. In a prepared statement, the inaugural editor-in-chief of Vogue Philippines says, “Our goal is to continue to create a robust, multi-platform experience that celebrates the Filipino spirit through the lenses of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, championing our dynamic stories of our culture’s evolution and its place in the wider global conversation.”
Trickie Lopa now assumes the role of editor-in-chief, succeeding Valdes’ more than three-year run as EIC. She was most recently Vogue Philippines’ Deputy Editor for Art and Culture. Regarding her new role, Lopa sees the brand continue cementing Vogue’s rich legacy as being the “ultimate chronicler of the zeitgeist” adding, “By integrating a deep appreciation for our unique art and cultural practice with the global fashion standard, we aim to showcase the best of the Filipino spirit to the world.”
The moves continue to build forward progress for Vogue Philippines, MGGI, and AGC Power Holding Corporation as it expands its reach and impact in Philippine media and beyond. “Bea’s unparalleled eye for detail will harmonize our titles, while Trickie’s deep expertise in cultural development and creative advocacy will undoubtedly make Vogue Philippines a source of inspiration for audiences across generations,” says Archie Carrasco, AGC Power Holdings Corp. chairman and CEO and publisher of Mega Global Group Inc.
