The country’s highly acclaimed contemporary art showcase will return for its fifth edition, ALT ART 2027, scheduled for February 18-21 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

The art fair will once again bring together leading galleries, artists, and creative voices for four days of celebration and conversations on art. Further details on its upcoming edition are yet to be announced.

Its previous rendition was held on February 12-15, and featured almost 300 artists, which is deemed its largest and most ambitious edition to date. The 2026 exhibition also included ALT ART Conversations, where invited artists and gallerists engaged in critical issues on local and global art, including the newly named National Artist for Visual Arts  Imelda Cajipe-Endaya. Alongside the staple ALT Spaces and the dialogues were curator-led tours by Award-Winning Art Critic and Curator Carlomar Daoana, as well as live and dynamic durational performances that let audiences experience the “convergence of image and sound.”

ALT ART is organized by ALT Collective and was established in 2019. The collective comprises nine established galleries: Antiformal, Blanc, The Drawing Room, Galleria Duemila, Finale Art File, MO_Space, , Vinyl on Vinyl, and West Gallery.
