Filipina drag diva Marina Summers is entering the RuPaul universe once again — this time, as a cast member of RuPaul’s Drag Race WERQ THE WORLD 2025 tour.

On February 7, event organizer Wilbros Live announced that Summers would be joining the star-studded lineup of the world’s biggest drag show, becoming the first Filipino drag queen announced for this year’s tour. Summers will be performing alongside acclaimed previous contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race, including Sasha Velour, Derrick Barry, Jaida Essence Hall, Jorgeous, Roxxxy Andrews, and Vanessa Vanjie.

Besides Summers, the Philippines’ leg of the tour promises to feature performances from drag queens who’ve competed on the series’ Filipino counterpart, Drag Race Philippines, although this lineup has yet to be revealed. The tour will be performing in Cebu’s Waterfront Hotel on April 29 and in Manila’s Araneta Coliseum on April 30.

Since first appearing on Drag Race Philippines Season 1, Summers’ career has consistently broken new ground in the drag world. She is set to star as Glinda in the upcoming UK production of The Wizard of Oz, joining an all-star cast that includes drag icons Divina de Campo and A’Whora. This role follows her rise to national fame as a runner-up on Drag Race Philippines and her international recognition after placing third on Drag Race: UK vs. The World. Summers, who began her drag journey in 2019, has since solidified her place as a dominant force in both the Philippine drag scene and beyond, with her influence expanding across the globe.
