Nicole Scherzinger, Jo Koy to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars in 2027

The Pussycat Dolls lead and Sunset Boulevard star joins stand-up comedian Jo Koy as next year’s recipients of one of Hollywood’s highest public honors

Singer-actress Nicole Scherzinger and stand-up comic Jo Koy are among the next personalities of Filipino descent to be part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027. The honorees next year will receive stars embedded along the famed sidewalks of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The public monument has honored hundreds of iconic celebrities and entertainers since 1953.

The Sunset Boulevard actress’ reaction to receiving her own star was posted on Instagram. “Dreams really do come true,” Scherzinger says in disbelief. “I can hardly believe it!!! I am overwhelmed and so grateful! Look at God!” Meanwhile, Jo Koy also shared his reaction online, posting a video of himself with his family and friends celebrating the occasion.

Previously, Filipino singer-actress Lea Salonga was announced in 2025 to receive her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with her ceremony scheduled for September 2026. 

More Filipino-American artists have received stars in the past, including Bruno Mars as part of the Class of 2016, as well as Apl.de.ap with the Black Eyed Peas as part of the Class of 2022. Both artists were honored under the Recording category.

Scherzinger will go on tour with her group The Pussycat Dolls in Europe starting in September. Jo Koy meanwhile, will star in the upcoming DreamWorks Animation fantasy film Forgotten Island, releasing this September.
