In AFAM Wives Club, four very different women set out to find love, specifically with “AFAMs,” or foreigners assigned in Manila. The upcoming iWant reality series, premiering November 11, tracks their pursuit of romance while unraveling the messy intersections of desire, power, and cultural perception in the Philippines’ contentious expat dating circuit.
The show’s lineup brings together an eclectic mix of personalities. It features actress Nathalie Hart, a StarStruck alum; beauty queen Keylyn Trajano, the first trans woman to compete in Miss Universe Philippines; Julia Chu, a litigation, labor, and intellectual property lawyer; and social media personality Mari Fowler, sister of rapper Toni Fowler.

Under the direction of I’m Drunk, I Love You’s JP Habac and showrunner Rodina Singh, with Antoinette Jadaone as producer, AFAM Wives Club teases budding cross-cultural romances, as well as the tensions and stereotypes that trail them, exploring what it means to date, love, and be desired in a country where “AFAM” carries both excitement and stigma.
