But the real question is… will we be seeing Ted Lasso break out the Running Man again?

It’s been three years since Ted Lasso’s third (and supposedly last) season released on Apple TV+, but it looks like we’re returning to AFC Richmond one more time.

Ted Lasso Season 4 is set to drop its first episode on August 5, with weekly episodes every Wednesday all the way through October 7. Its latest teaser confirms that a number of familiar faces are back on the football field (excuse me, pitch!), including Lasso himself (Jason Sudeikis), Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham), Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), Keeley Jones (Juno Temple), Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt), and Leslie Higgins (Jeremy Swift). We may need to wait a little bit longer to see if Phil Dunster returns as Jamie Tartt, or Nick Mohammed as Nate Shelley, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled.

Despite ending the third season returning to the United States to be closer to his son, Ted is back in Richmond to coach a new set of players: this time, for a second division women’s football team. New additions to the series include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
