Tomorrowland from Boom, Belgium — one of the world’s largest music festivals — has confirmed its first-ever Southeast Asian edition, announcing a three-day event in Thailand set for December 11 to 13. The landmark festival will take place at Wisdom Valley, Chon Buri, marking a major expansion for the event and positioning Thailand as the sole regional host for Tomorrowland’s full-scale festival experience.
The announcement was shared with the line, “For the first time ever, Tomorrowland comes to Thailand,” signaling what organizers describe as a new chapter for the festival’s global footprint. The Thailand edition will center on Tomorrowland’s 2026 theme, Consciencia — a narrative revolving around the emotional foundations of existence, such as wonder, love, anger, joy, desire, and sadness. These emotions are represented as six distinct factions, each with its own visual language, rituals, and symbolic identity. The central imagery for the theme features a fractured statue, split down the middle, suggesting a once-pristine form altered by time and experience.
As with previous editions, the festival’s mythology extends beyond the stage. Tomorrowland has also introduced a companion fantasy book, The Legend of Consciencia, which explores the origins of the 2026 theme in detail. The deluxe limited edition includes original artwork, illustrated chapters, a themed glossary, and a detailed map tied to the festival’s fictional universe.
With Thailand hosting its first Southeast Asian edition, Tomorrowland’s arrival signals a significant moment for the region’s electronic music scene, one that places Southeast Asia firmly on the festival’s global map. Since its launch in 2005, Tomorrowland has grown into one of the most influential electronic music festivals in the world, known for its elaborate stage designs, tightly curated lineups, and immersive storytelling that extends beyond the music.
