OPM rock icons Eraserheads will debut their new song “Get This Love Thing Down” at the first-ever Electric Fun Music Festival, happening October 18, 2025, at the SMDC Festival Grounds. The song, written during the band’s early years in the 1990s, has never been performed live and will finally be played as part of their two-hour headlining set.
The track joins a festival setlist that includes fan favorites and deep cuts. Eraserheads haven’t hinted at a larger release for the song, but it marks a moment that connects their early years with their current outlook. The festival’s main draw is the Eraserheads’ full-length set, which headlines a lineup made up of artists the band personally picked.
“I’m excited for our new and longtime fans to hear what we came up with,” frontman Ely Buendia said in a statement. “We’ve each grown to different phases and explored different sounds, but this song reflects where we are now, emotionally, musically, and spiritually.”

The event was announced earlier this year during the release of the documentary Eraserheads: Combo on the Run. Joining the bill are acts including The Itchyworms, Alyson, General Luna, Dong Abay Music Organization and many more.
Tickets are available through PalawanPay and SM Tickets.
