South Korean rock band DAY6 will return to Manila on January 24, 2026, as part of their 10th anniversary concert tour The Decade. The stop at the SM Mall of Asia Arena follows their recent Manila performance last February under the Forever Young world tour, their first Philippine show in more than five years.
Formed in 2015 under JYP Entertainment, DAY6 is composed of leader, guitarist, and vocalist Sungjin; bassist, vocalist, and primary songwriter Young K; keyboardist and vocalist Wonpil; and drummer and backing vocalist Dowoon. Over the past decade, the group has built a devoted global following with hits such as “Congratulations,” “You Were Beautiful,” “Love Me or Leave Me,” “Freely,” and “Zombie.”
While often introduced as a rock band, DAY6’s highly energetic and anthemic sound showcases lyrical depth and emotional weight, always defying a single label in their music. This willingness to experiment has set them apart in the highly competitive K-pop industry.
In the Philippines, DAY6 holds a unique place within the K-pop fandom. The band represents a rare intersection of Korean idol culture and band musicianship, appealing to fans drawn not only by choreography and visuals, but also live instrumentation and songwriting craft. Their consistent engagement with Filipino fans, paired with music that speaks across language barriers, has made each Manila visit a highly anticipated cultural moment.
The Decade tour begins in August with two shows at Goyang Stadium in Goyang City, South Korea, before heading to international stages.
