Norwegian folk duo Kings of Convenience is heading back to Manila. The duo’s last visit to the Philippines dates back to 2010, making it 16 years since their first live performance. With singer-songwriters Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, the duo is known for their intimate, soothing, acoustic guitar-led music.
Kings of Convenience were widely known for releasing popular singles such as “Misread,” “Mrs. Cold,” “Homesick,” and many more. Their latest album, Peace or Love, was released in 2021, 12 years after their last, Declaration of Independence, in 2009.
Their upcoming Philippine stop will take place at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City on November 20, 2026. Recently, the duo has been embarking on a global tour since kicking off in Europe this June, eventually making their way to Manila.
