Is Hunter Schafer gunning to be this generation’s scream queen? After proving her acting chops in the 2024 sci-fi horror Cuckoo, the model and actress is set to scare us again inTHE HUNT, a one-minute short film directed by British visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen for the 2025 Fall Collection of South Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster.
A teaser video shows a hotel room door being axed down the middle, The Shining-style. In the campaign poster, Schafer is seen staring at something off-camera as a creepy figure peers from a hole in the wall behind her.
On top of her personal work as an artist, Cohen has also done various campaigns in the fashion world. In 2024, she directed Saint Laurent’s As Time Goes By short film series. She also worked on Balenciaga’s Summer 25 campaign with actor Kyle MacLachlan. But Cohen is known best for bringing her retro flair to Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS.
She has also directed music videos, from Aphex Twin’s “Korg 5 Funk” (where she dances in a blue suit) and Kardashian’s 2024 cover of “Santa Baby.”
THE HUNT comes out on Wednesday, October 29, while Gentle Monster’s Fall Collection launches on November 7.
