Gird your loins: The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to release in Philippine cinemas next year.
20th Century Studios recently released its first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, and it’s clear that it’s going to be a grand reunion between Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs. While some eagle-eyed fans have clocked the trailer’s close-up of Miranda’s mid-2010s Valentino rockstud pumps (weren’t those from over a decade ago?), even that isn’t enough to dim the excitement over Streep and Hathaway returning to Runway, the (fictional) fashion magazine of the first film. But will the duo be able to navigate a publishing industry on the decline?
Stanley Tucci will also be returning as Nigel, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and a band of newcomers, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, and B.J. Novak, is set to step into the world of high fashion.
The Devil Wears Prada is set to premiere in Philippine cinemas on April 29, 2026.
