Warning: spoilers abound.
As any good Bridgerton fan knows, every season of the Regency romance drama brings with it a set of new, loud, and horned-up scenes of love-making (set to the beat of the orchestral cover of this century’s best pop songs, of course).
The latest season of the Netflix hit series is no different, and fans have been patiently waiting for Sophie (Yerin Ha) and Benedict (Luke Thompson) to completely give in to their more heated desires. To celebrate the conclusion of Bridgerton’s fourth season, we’ve rounded up some of the raunchiest scenes across the show (and its one prequel) that had us fanning ourselves and wanting for more.
Season 1, Episode 6: Daphne and Simon’s Sex Montage
The orchestral version of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” never sounded sexier. Simon (Regé-Jean Page), the Duke of Hastings, can’t keep his hands off his wife Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor). In what can only be described as a sex montage, the couple regale us as they do the deed bare-ass naked at a picnic, on the rainy grounds of a stone temple, and on the rungs of a library ladder.
Season 2, Episode 7: Anthony and Kate Finally Give In
As the scene that has launched hundreds of Kanthony fan edits, the moment when Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) finally give in to each other had to make the list. “What did I tell you about you and your orders?” Kate tells Anthony as he tries to push her away. Two seconds later, and we’re deep into one of the steamiest make-out sessions (and most intense eating-out sessions) of the season.
Season 3, Episode 4: Colin and Penelope Get it On in a Carriage
Although the carriage scene may have been a bit of a room divider for Bridgerton fans, we can’t deny that it’s one of the most iconic and earnest sex scenes of the show. “Feelings like dreaming of you when I’m asleep,” Colin (Luke Newton) tells Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), “and, in fact, preferring sleep because that is where I might find you.” Cue a very well-lit and wanton love-making session that had all of us, like Penelope, gasping for air.
‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,’ Episode 3: Charlotte and George’s Sex on Even Days
They did agree to even days, after all. In their attempts to produce an heir, Queen Charlotte (India Amarteifio) and King George (Corey Mylchreest) engage in the “awful” act of getting freaky on wooden bedposts, dining room tables, and a very wet bathtub.
Season 4, Episode 5: Benedict and Sophie’s First Time
After a lot of build-up (and dividing this latest season into two acts), Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha) finally confess their feelings for each other. The fireplace turns into a support for Sophie to brace herself against Benedict’s tongueing, the Bridgerton son throws her onto a table to eat her out, and we’re treated to an incredibly tender love-making sesh.
