Red Horse Beer “Pambansang Muziklaban” is back on the festival stage, setting up one of the most anticipated rock gatherings in the country. A platform for local musicians since 1999, Red Horse Beer ‘Muziklaban’ once again fuels the scene by fielding a new generation of artists in a clash to determine the next standout Filipino band.
This year’s finalists include VDS from Quezon City, BAGUIO GOLD MUSIC from Baguio City, HILO from Cabuyao, Laguna, THEMATA from Tacloban City, and TAMAD SI JUAN from Davao City. Each band brings a different sonic palette to the competition, ranging from ska-reggae and nu-metal to alternative rock and other sub genres of heavy guitar-driven music.
Past Muziklaban champions include Mayonnaise in 2004, Palawan-based band Woopis in 2017, and Happy Three Friends in 2019. Now, a fresh lineup of contenders will compete at the “Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Finals” on March 14, 2026 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The Grand Finals will also feature performances from some of the country’s most revered heavy rock acts, including Greyhoundz, Wilabaliw, Urbandub, Kjwan, Razorback, Typecast, Chocolate Factory, Setsuna, and Mayonnaise.
