Taylor Swift has released a song for the upcoming Toy Story 5 film titled “I Knew It, I Knew You” on June 5. Written by Swift and produced by longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, the single arrives with the original cut plus two alternate versions: a piano version and an acoustic‑guitar version.

“I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5‑year‑old kid watching the first Toy Story movie,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?”

“I Knew It, I Knew You” opens with the guitar and harmonica before Swift sings about young memories such as first drives, grassy summers, and first love. The arrangement harkens back to her country roots best exemplified in her debut self-titled album released in 2006 and Fearless in 2008. Swift has even said she once dressed up as Jessie, which fits the song’s warm wink to the franchise.
