Philippine Women’s Open, the country’s first foray into hosting a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournament at the 125 level is officially on. Happening from January 26 to 31, 2026, it will be a hard court tournament that will coincide with the Australian Open’s two-week run from January 18 to February 1, 2026.
Announced earlier this year through a meeting with the Philippine Tennis Association and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), preliminary details have already been posted on WTA’s calendar.
While the official listing has yet to include a venue, PSC confirmed in October that it is refurbishing the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center for the WTA 125 tournament. Three of its seven courts will reportedly be used for the duration of the event.

There will be women’s singles and doubles tournaments.
The singles draw will consist of 32 players, while the doubles draw will see 16 players
