Filipino girl group BINI has officially joined the Coachella 2026 lineup, becoming the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at the festival. They are slated to take the stage on the first day of both weekends, April 10 and 17, alongside acts like pop singer Sabrina Carpenter, indie pop trio The xx, hardcore punk band Turnstile, singer-songwriter Ethel Cain, multinational girl group KATSEYE, and English R&B singer Blood Orange.

While indie Filipino acts like beabadoobee, underscores, Eyedress, and no rome have performed in previous editions of Coachella, BINI’s slot marks a particular milestone for Philippine pop music, showing how that the country’s biggest homegrown acts can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with international names without leaving their cultural identity behind.

Since their breakout in the early 2020s, BINI has grown into one of the country’s most successful pop groups, turning tracks like “Salamin,” “Pantropiko,” “Lagi,” and “Blink Twice” into national anthems. In February, they became the first girl group to sell out the Philippine Arena with their BINIVERSE concert, a landmark achievement in the local industry. They are set to return to the venue on November 29 for their follow-up show, BINIFIED.

The group’s rise has extended beyond music. In May, BINI secured a place on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list in the Entertainment and Sports category, where they stood alongside South Korean boy group Stray Kids and Indian Paralympic medalist Sheetal Devi. For fans, their Coachella slot affirms what they already know: that BINI’s momentum is reshaping what a Filipino act can achieve on the bigger stage.
