On October 6, the Filipino Music Awards returned to the SM Mall of Asia Arena for its second year of recognizing artistry, technical excellence, cultural impact, and audience support across its wide range of award categories. But before the trophies were handed out, the red carpet set the stage for what’s to come.
It was not by any measure a traditional red carpet. The surprises gave way to star power as Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Apl. de Ap, and Morisette walked the red carpet. Artists BINI Maloi and Jhoanna, SB19, Maki, and Adie arrived with contemporary looks while XONARA, KAIA, BGYO, fitterkarma and other emerging artists showcased a more on-brand look to signify their artistry.
The red carpet also saw stars like Michelle Dee, Ashtine Olviga, Marina Summers, Kyle Echarri, and Wilbert Ross, each delivering their own take on reimagining a Filipino evening’s dress code of Gilded Red-Carpet.
