Saying no to smoke doesn’t mean abstaining from smoking. It sounds like a paradox, but this is the welcome contradiction that Ploom offers to those who live in the now: a familiar ritual, reimagined for the modern era.
Made with Japan precision engineering, Ploom gives a truly unique heated tobacco experience with no smoke, no ash, and less tobacco smell. With Ploom, consumers can enjoy uninterrupted moments with unlimited puffs per session. It’s redefining our rituals, one Ploom moment at a time.
A CANVAS IN YOUR POCKET
On June 10, Ploom introduced its Ploom Design House to the Philippines: a Truly Unique, creative platform for boundary-pushing artists to create artistic collaborations for consumers.
For Ploom Design House’s inaugural drop in Manila, six visionary designers from around the world were invited to reimagine the look of Ploom, transforming its interchangeable front panel into a portable piece of art. With swappable designs, each Ploom device transcends mere function. It becomes a living canvas, shifting with every user’s mood, style, and scene.
“We are proud to finally unveil our new limited-edition front panels here in the Philippines. These are more than just aesthetic upgrades — they’re a canvas for self-expression, allowing consumers to express their uniqueness with Ploom,” shared Karin Tan, JTI Philippines Reduced Risk Products Category Director. “These limited-edition pieces are for those who value art, individuality, and elevated design.”
Boasting an impressive roster of creatives, the collection features works from Dex Fernandez (Philippines), Kenji Chai (Malaysia), Valentin Elias Renner (Germany), Philippos Theodorides (Greece), Tymek (Poland), and Arturo Tedeschi (Italy).
INNOVATION WITH A FILIPINO FLAIR
Known for his genre-bending murals and mixed-media work, Fernandez has an artistic ethos that is unapologetically Filipino: electric, eclectic, and dynamic. For Ploom, the Caloocan-based artist distilled that same spirit into a design featuring multi-colored circular shapes intricately overlaid to form a striking face, allowing users to carry the playfulness of Manila’s streets wherever they go.
The inclusion of Fernandez in the maiden Ploom Design House collection is more than a choice. It’s a statement — one that signals the brand’s keenness to platform local artistry and create products that cater to the Filipino buyer.
Following this thread, Tan also hints at future partnerships with local artists: “Dex’s designs injected dynamic Filipino creativity into our global collection. His unique visual language captures the bold, expressive spirit of Ploom. This is just the beginning and sets the tone for future design-led collaborations to come between Ploom and Filipino creatives.”
AN EXPERIENCE THAT DOESN’T COMPROMISE
As a global leader in the heated tobacco category, Ploom offers discerning smokers an authentic heated tobacco experience with no smoke, no ash, and less tobacco smell. Now, with its first-ever Ploom Design House Collection, the brand also proves that style, social awareness, and sensory satisfaction no longer need to be at odds.
These limited-edition designs are now available for PHP 500 on Ploom’s website and Ploom Stores in Mitsukoshi BGC, One Ayala, Eastwood Mall, Robinsons Galleria and One Bonifacio High Street — only while supplies last.
Ploom is a heated tobacco device for adult smokers only, not without risk and for use with tobacco sticks containing nicotine, an addictive substance.
