Senator Imee Marcos placed 13th to 14th in the polling firm Social Weather Stations (SWS)’ most recent senatorial survey, tying with TV personality and senatorial bet Willie Revillame. The survey results released on Monday, April 21, show Marcos and Revillame falling just outside the “Magic 12” projected to win the senatorial elections. The survey was conducted from April 11 to 15.
The results show that Senator Christopher “Bong” Go still leads the top 12 preferred senatorial candidates, with Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Representative Erwin Tulfo following in second. Tulfo consistently placed first in SWS’ monthly surveys from December 2024 to February 2025 before tying with Go for first and second in March 2025.
The latest top 15 rankings are as follows:
- Sen. Bong Go, 45 percent of votes
- Cong. Erwin Tulfo, 43 percent
- Sen. Lito Lapid, 34 percent
- Tito Sotto, 33 percent
- Sen. Pia Cayetano, 33 percent
- Sen. Bato dela Rosa, 32 percent
- Sen. Bong Revilla, 31 percent
- Ben Tulfo, 31 percent
- Mayor Abby Binay, 29 percent
- Cong. Camille Villar, 28 percent
- Ping Lacson, 26 percent
- Manny Pacquiao, 25 percent
- Willie Revillame, 24 percent
- Sen. Imee Marcos, 24 percent
- Bam Aquino, 21 percent
Marcos previously ranked 16th in SWS’ March 2025 survey. ABS-CBN News reports that she is unfazed by her performance in the surveys. “Kapag tinignan mo nang tinignan, ang totoo, ang senador ngayon eh dikit-dikit at halos pare-pareho ang score,” she said. “Kaya hindi mo malalaman kung sino ang pasok, sino ang hindi.”

The results come a week after Marcos released a new advertisement featuring Vice President Sara Duterte — her first since dropping out of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas slate backed by her brother, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
In the 30-second video, Marcos debuted the theme for her independent campaign, “ITIM,” which stands for “Inday [Sara] Trusts Imee Marcos,” “Ipaglalaban tayo ni Imee Marcos,” and “Ilaban ang tama, itama ang mali.”
Marcos cites the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte as the reason for her departure from her brother’s slate in March 2025. She pressed that Duterte’s arrest was unconstitutional and initiated a Senate inquiry on the matter.
She previously disapproved of the vice president’s impeachment in February 2025, saying she did not want the conflict that the impeachment might cause. She also showed favor for holding Duterte’s impeachment trial after the next State of the Nation Address in July 2025, when the 20th Congress convenes.
