R&B singer-songwriter and producer Alisson Shore has announced his second album, Memento Mori, set for release on October 19. He revealed the news on August 31 through his social media accounts, sharing the cover art that features an ouroboros snake, with the caption “A story by Ali” written beneath the album title.
Shore described the project on his Instagram story last August 31 as a carefully built body of work, posting, “Tracklisting soon. Lahat ng features dito pinili ko ng mabuti at sinigurado kong solid para sa inyong lahat. This is a movie.” His words suggest the record will lean into the cinematic quality that has defined much of his career, both visually and sonically.
The upcoming release is a follow up to his 2021 debut album GARUDA, which paired mythological references with striking imagery, including Shore posing in a black suit with angel wings and a shovel on his back. The record’s rollout included the single “ERE,” a cyberpunk-inspired track and visual that reinforced the album’s Icarus theme.
Since then, Shore has remained active with singles that draw from early 2000s R&B and hip-hop, referencing artists like Aaliyah, Ashanti, Ja Rule, and Twista. Recent tracks include “Babalik Ba,” “Ako Ba Talaga?” with singer KELLY, and “Ako Pa Rin” with rapper Yuridope. In 2024, he also teamed up with fellow R&B hitmaker Dionela for “HOODIE.”
