‘Street Fighter’ Teaser Reveals an Absurdly Loaded Cast Built for Peak Bro Energy

The new Street Fighter film looks ready to turn theaters into a gathering of gamers, wrestling fans, and alpha-bros. The iconic fighting game is getting a full-scale reboot after filming began in August 2025. On December 12, the production finally dropped the first look of the cast. The reveal played out like a checklist of every “bro favorite” name in modern testosterone-addled action culture. 

The casting reveals Andrew Koji of Bullet Train stepping in as the game’s iconic character Ryu, while Noah Centineo, the star of To All the Boys series and films like Black Adam and Dream Scenario, plays Ken Masters. Jason Momoa takes on the electrifying green creature-human hybrid Blanka. Callina Liang from the 2024 Bad Genius remake appears as the spin kicking icon Chun-Li. WWE superstars Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i and Cody Rhodes join the film as Akuma and Guile. Rappers and musicians also jump into the lineup, with 50 Cent portraying Balrog and Orville Peck suiting up as Vega. The film’s casting reads like an action-movie fantasy draft where every pick is a heavy hitter.

The teaser trailer, released the same day as the character posters, offers a rapid-fire montage of kicks, broken walls, flying bodies, and a string of grunts that sell the film’s appetite for crowd-pleasing impact. The entire trailer avoids showing any trademark ‘hadoukens,” so hold your excitement until the film’s release. Street Fighter opens worldwide on October 16, 2026.
