ALPHA DRIVE ONE Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Online Attacks

Boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE has taken legal action after a slew of malicious comments targeted the group on May 21. Their agency, Wake One, has begun an investigation to track down posters who spread disinformation or insults against the group. ALPHA DRIVE ONE is set to make their comeback on May 26 with the prologue single “No School Tomorrow.”

Based on evidence retrieved by the agency, Wake One submitted two official complaints in April and May. The company explained, “Investigations are currently under way, including the execution of search and seizure warrants, to secure identifying information on the perpetrators.”

Last February 19, ALPHA DRIVE ONE member Kim Geon Woo was accused of having “poor character” in front of broadcasting staff during the filming of KBS2’s Idol 2ND. Their agency, Wake One, issued a statement saying those allegations were false. “The spread of various attacks, defamatory remarks, and false rumors, including attacks directed at the artists’ outer appearances as well as their character, has caused deep and lasting scars on not only the artists, but also the fans.”

The label then stated that they believe it is their responsibility to protect their roster. “We have partnered with Law Firm Sejong to proceed with legal action against any acts which infringe on our artists’ rights.”

ALPHA DRIVE ONE is an eight-member boy group and was formed through the reality competition show Boys II Planet and debuted on January 12, 2026.
