GQ Philippines Has Arrived to Tell the Stories of Filipino Men Today

The inaugural issue brings together three cover stars while setting out to showcase the experiences and ambitions of today’s Filipino man

On September 12, GQ Philippines officially launched at The Manila Marriott Hotel. The grand launch introduces the publication’s goal of showcasing the unique experiences and ambitions of the contemporary Filipino man.

GQ Philippines’ grand launch was hosted by Filipino actor Matteo Guidicelli, along with star-studded attendees such as actress Anne Curtis, Nadine Lustre, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski, model LA Aguinaldo, to name a few.

The culmination of the evening came when the publication revealed the three cover stars of GQ Philippines: New York Knicks star Jordan Clarkson, actor Darren Criss, and FEATR founder and host Erwan Heussaff.

The program opened with welcoming remarks from AGC Power Holdings Corp. CEO, Chairman, and GQ Philippines publisher Archie G. Carrasco, followed by a speech from Condé Nast Executive Director, Strategic Content Initiatives Amy Mangino.

“Today, men can be powerful and vulnerable,” Carrasco says. “Ambitious and grounded. Global in perspective, while remaining deeply proud of where they come from. That is the world GQ Philippines intends to capture.”

The editorial team of GQ Philippines comprises editor-in-chief Danyl Geneciran, deputy editor Chino Hernandez, managing editor Peejo Pilar, and art director Marc Yellow.
