Lisa just gave everyone her best song in years. Her latest single “SaWaDiKa” was released alongside a music video on September 4.

The music video, directed by Bang Jae Yeob, known for his work with Stray Kids and RM of BTS, was shot in Lisa’s hometown of Bangkok, Thailand. Produced by Thom Bridges and songwriting duo Ojivolta, the lead single is off her upcoming EP Press Play coming out on October 23.

Since releasing songs as a solo artist in 2021 with “LALALISA,” Lisa has consistently created a body of work that showcases her rap skills, most notably on her 2025 debut album Alter Ego. “SaWaDiKa” harkens back to the hook-heavy, sharp rhythmic style she’s known for, echoing catchy solo cuts like “Money” “Rock Star,” and “New Woman.”

Lisa’s feature documentary Always Lalisa will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10 until September 20 before releasing in cinemas worldwide on October 12. Her upcoming Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 13th & 14th and November 27th & 28th made her become the first K-pop artist to perform.
