Rock band The Itchyworms mark twenty years of their seminal sophomore album Noon Time Show with a limited double vinyl release through Backspacer Records. The record, which has been released on vinyl, comes in transparent light violet and transparent red pressings. It was remastered for vinyl by Shinji Tanaka of Kodama Studio using the original recordings, bringing a cleaner and wider sound to a project remembered for its humor, sharp turns and the group’s grip on melody.
Two decades of live show appearances, chart-toppers and crowd favorites made The Itchyworms one of the most reliable rock acts in the OPM scene since the early aughts. From the karaoke standard album highlight “Beer” to the award-winning 2019 single “‘Di Na Muli,” their run of witty and heartfelt songs shows how easily they move between comedy and sincerity.
Pre-orders for the 20th anniversary vinyl edition of Noon Time Show, priced at PHP 3,900, are now open through Backspacer Records until supplies last.
