Miley Cyrus has announced her upcoming album Bass Persuades, coming out on September 18. The singer-songwriter teased the title track “Bass Persuades,” out on September 4, on her socials. The teaser shows Cyrus walking down an empty street while carrying an electric guitar, hinting in a rock-driven direction. Her latest album features guest performances by dance-punk outfit Model/Actriz and Swedish electropop artist Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt.
Last September 1, Cyrus shared a statement about her latest album on Instagram. “Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong,” Cyrus wrote. “Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album.”
Cyrus has confirmed two concerts promoting Bass Persuades at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18. No tour has been announced yet.
Cyrus released her last album, Something Beautiful, back in 2025.
